DE LA HOYA "Mayweather knows when to pick his opponents"

I don't think there was a bigger cherrypick between the 2 fighters than Manny fighting DLH at 147 lbs, a weight class that the middle age DLH hadn't made in about a decade.

DLH doesn't like Floyd, this has obviously been clear for years now. I'm pretty sure he's not too fond of the fact that Floyd has pretty much beat his entire stable at 147 and 154 lbs, so he holds a lot of vitriol at Floyd for a multitude of selfish reasons. He has a great level of admiration for Manny, so as Oscar put it a few days ago- "my heart goes with Manny winning this fight, but my head says Floyd will beat him."

Hopefully he doesn't go to The Wild Card Gym and attempt to give Manny the "blueprint." If he really likes Pacman, he'll avoid that at all costs.

 

Like Pac picked a drained and old ODH, Cotto after he lost, Margo after he lost, Mosley after he lost, seeing a trend here?

Now you are sending wishes to god that PAC beats Floyd, but your setting up your excuses because you honestly have no faith in PAC even though you pretend to.

 

relax it doesn't matter who has declined more. Pacman at his best would have annihilated floyd. this version of pac gives floyd a chance and gives us a competitive fight.

Oscar knows Floyd was forced into this fight by Moonves but he is knowingly perpetuating the general narrative that Floyd will outbox Pacquiao, setting more pressure on Floyd and solidifying Pac Man as the major underdog.
