I can see where the judges came from in their scoring, but I had DLH outright dominating the first 2/3rds of the fight, gave round 3 or 4 to Mosley. Had Mosley winning 3 of the last 5 rounds when he started punching. For being drugged up Mosley sure gave a shitty performance even though his athleticism looked great and he actually showed some decent head movement.

One thing's for sure, Big George sure was heated in the post fight commentary. I also noticed this is like the 4th fighter i've seen tell Merchant to his face "You never boxed before, so you don't know boxing":yep

I won $50 betting on Mosley, and still have to admit - I got lucky.

I thought De La Hoya was blatantly robbed.

Agreed. But I guess it sort of balances out. He was robbed in Tito and Mosley II but he got gifts in Sturm and Whitaker.

But those fighters were closer IMO. I had DLH beating Sturm by outworking him to the body in 7 rounds, and beating Whitaker on activity through similar points. I can see people having the opposite viewpoint, but I can't see someone honestly saying they think Shane won that fight.

I disagree he clearly lost to Sturm (haven't seen the Whitaker fight in a while). Even DLH knew he lost that one.

I thought he edged 7 rounds :conf I don't think it compares to how clearly DLH beat Mosley in the rematch.

Haven't scored it in a long time, I think 8-4 for Floyd.

    8-4 is fair. (I had it 10-2)

Blatant robbery. . I've watched that fight many times, and being generous to Mosley, I can't give him more than 4 rounds. . . Being generous to Oscar, I can give him 10 rounds.

I wanted Mosely to win, but couldnt have made a case for him doing so.
It wasnt even close for me. DLH was robbed!
Not far off being as bad as Marquez v Pac 3.

I think i'd rather have my record say that prime for prime i beat Mosley and lost to sturm when i was past it than vice versa

    Do you have a problem?

Everybody calls that fight a robbery by word of mouth. I watched it, saw Sturm frequently move DLH with his jabs, but saw DLH outwork him in 7 close rounds with shots to his midsection left wide open by his high guard.
