"I just didn’t care. I didn’t care if he was hitting me because I couldn’t do anything about it. Luckily he doesn’t hit hard. Obviously, if he would’ve hit hard, he would have knocked me out with no problem.”

"Once the (opening) bell rang, I believe I threw a left hook to his body. He made a noise like it really hurt. After that, he was wide open, he was there for me and I didn’t do anything. Right there it started feeling like, 'Wow, this doesn’t feel the same. I don’t feel like myself.' And obviously, when he started landing punches at will, something in my mind happened as if I said to myself, 'You know what? It’s just not going to happen.' I felt as if he could just land anything and I couldn’t do anything about it."

I believe him. I didn't get the sense that pacman was punching all that hard at 147.

Actually many of Pac's opponents have said this. It isn't his power... it's his blistering speed.

well you would think if he was going to lie, he would say pac punches hard to make it look better on himself. i don't think pac does hit that hard, relatively speaking, at these higher weights. and if he hasn't got enough to make hatton respect him very early on it's going to be over fairly quickly.

What a classless jerk. Basically saying that a ghost version of himself hurt Pacquiao and would have easily disposed of him if some mysterious forcefield didn't keep him from fighting. How about admitting that you picked on a guy that you thought would be easy work, but turned out to be too damn fast and good for you?

It's not the "He doesn't hit hard" quote. It's the "I landed hard to the body and didn't follow up" thing that humors me. It's like Oscar is the only person who could dig his own grave and bury himself at the same time.

You're "starting to question" his heart.

The guy's an atg on his final or second to final fight. He's gone man, it's over. Whatever he does now is just some encore after the curtain's come down.

I think their fight proved that Pac's power at the higher weights has diminished. Still, **** that ***** Oscar.
