The hatton fight is no way an easy match. Pacs's frome of mind should be like when he fought delahoya. I feel much more confident when pac is the underdog.
After his loss, Jorge Solis claimed his wife hit harder than Pacquiao. Erik Morales said after the 1st and 2nd fights that Pac did not really have the power to hurt him. David Diaz said it was not the power in the punches, but the speed, after one short punch crumpled him to the canvas. Nevertheless, Oscar has shared the same ring with truly murderous punchers like Tito Trinidad and Nando Vargas, I guess when you view it in the grand scheme of things that Oscar is coming from, yes, PacMan does not hit as hard as these guys at welterweight. Which former 106-lb. fighter does?
Well I believe him. To me Manny doesn't look like a big puncher at 147. He simply wore De La Hoya down with volume. Still, Manny managed to hit hard enough to make Oscar quit.
hatton would be the test of manny's power...taking all things into consideration, he must KO hatton shorter than the rounds needed by PBF
It seems you are taking for granted that Manny will knock Ricky out. What would you then think of Manny's power if Hatton knocks him out?
The man has fought Bernard Hopkins and Tito Trinidad. I'm sure compared to then, Manny doesn't hit hard.
Pacmans power IS overrated but DLH admitting that he doesnt hit hard makes DLH himself look worse, he quit vs a much smaller man without even being hurt. Poof.
its like saying Mosley doesnt have power, hes got speed. its not always speed equals power, look at Malinagi, hes got speed but no power.
