Pacquiao may not have that one punch power anymore but he still has enough that could down his opponent..Accumulative punches + plus speed is as deadly as a one punch power....

Nobody knew Oscar was weight drained until he came walking to the ring. Your post, albeit as a result of much effort on your part, proves nothing.

Manny Pacquiao did not fight and beat a prime Oscar or even a good version, irrespective of what the fight odds were before the first bell.

    Sorry.

If you read some articles after the ODLH-PAC fight, there was an interview with ODLH team about the weight..They said there was no issue about the weight, it was properly monitored during the whole training period..The main concern was that ODLH had and always will have diffculty with southpaws..Even if it was a prime ODLH, he would still have a difficult time with Pacquiao..

    Proves nothing?

It just proved that despite you having known moments before the fight that Oscar weighed only 147lbs come fight night, prime or not, you still believed he would win over Pacquiao... more so by stoppage... which no matter how you twist it, History (and that post of yours) will tell you that you were dead wrong.:deal

The game plan would have been to weight 147 lbs at the official weighin, and hydrate to close to 160 lbs by fight time....

.....the fact that DLH weighed 145 lbs and only hydrated 2 lbs, shows that DLH threw his entire system out of whack by coming down to fight as a welter.

.....but I do agree, that p4p, both fighters weighing healthily and the same on fight night, Pacquiao beat DLH everytime.
Just like MAB, DLH's right hand is just too weak a weapon to counter Pac's left, and hold off his speed and energy.

    Not with me!

When HBO announced that DLH had tipped their scales at 147 lbs and Pacquiao at 148 1/2, I said in the room I watched it in, "if thats true, Pac's going to beat DLH just like he did the first time out with MAB......

.....turns out I was wrong.....Pac beat him worse!:D

I'm not really sure if the game plan is to rehydrate to 160lbs. How can Oscar do that when he was already weighing 147lbs 2 weeks before the fight? Common sense dictates that Oscar will weigh at around 147lbs come fight night.

When DLH was prime fighting at 147 lbs, he'd hydrate at least to the next fighting weight of 154 lbs.....

In his fight at 147 lbs against JC Chavez for example, DLH tipped the HBO scales at 161 lbs at fighttime.

Logic would say that DLH weight advantage in the ring would be his one true advantage over a fighter like Pacquiao in his prime......

.....but by design or not, DLH took that away from himself and became a punching bag.
Theres really no other way to look at it.

The last opponents of Pacquiao that I remember publicly admitting that his punches were powerful or his punches actually hurt were Sasakul ('98 ), Ledwaba ('01), Fashang 3K Battery ('04) and Morales. (third fight)

Doesn't really matter so much , though. A referee's stoppage and a one shot KO both counts as a TKO/KO win. So who cares if he doesnt punch that hard?

I remember Larrry Holmes say that Mike Tyson wasnt the hardest hitting guy he fought. He said that when he was hit by Earnie Shavers, he described it as like crashing on a runaway MACK truck, and Tyson's punches were like getting hit by a Lamborghini zooming at 100MPH.

    Something like that.

Shavers KO power was pure brute force, strength and body mass,
Tyson's KO power was speed, leverage, and body mass.
