De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight is set

I think anyone willing to bet on this should be thrilled it's taking place. Mayweather over Hatton was roughly 8x the size of my usual bet, Hoya over Pac will probably be about 10x the size of my usual bet.

If the two fighters are on friendly terms, this could be a glorified sparring session, where the fighters covertly know it's about making money and not getting hurt. In this case we could see a soft performance by DLH to get the decision. If there is legitimate tension or a "Mexican Revenge" storyline or Oscar is very concerned about his legacy, which I doubt, this is an easy TKO for Oscar.

 

Regardless of what anyone in here says, I think Pac is a big chance in this fight. When the fight was first discussed, I thought otherwise. But time will be doing Oscar no favours whatsoever. I still predict a DLH victory, but it's going to be very competitive... perhaps with a few scares in there for Oscar.

Oscar is just too big for Pac. I know Pac was in great shape 2 months ago against Diaz. In the 8th round, it looked like he was the same as the 1st round. Pac's stamina is great, he's fresh throughout the fight and has power and speed and all that. But at 147, 12 pounds more, I don't think he can hurt Oscar and his stamina might suffer from going up in weight. Pac isn't going to have a powerful punch as usual and his speed might be slower. Pac possibly could be tired by the 9th round because of the weight. Pac is basically going to be fighting a middleweight come fight night. I know Oscar looked bad against Forbes but I think he will look better come December 6th. Oscar is going to win in the end

 

It'll be a huge fight but Oscar easily wins, and by KO.
