Who's win would you be most impresed by?
Oscar De La Hoya first off should win he may be past his best but he is still pretty good. He may still be the best at 154. He was compitive in his bout with at the time the p4p best Foyd Mayweather Jr. losing by split decison. He has a size advantage: 5′ 10½″ and a 73“ reach compared to 5′ 6½″ and 67“ for Manny Pacquiao. On the other hand he is past his prime and will be fighting at a weight 147 that he has not fought at sence 2001. At his age droping that weight will not be as easy as it was when he was younger.
Manny Pacquiao first off should win. He is widely consedered to be the best boxer in the world he is in the prime of his carrer and De La Hoya is not. He is a better boxer right now than De La Hoya. Despite 147 being two weight classes over his current weight he should have an easier time making weight than De La Hoya. On the other hand he will be fighting 2 weight calsses over his current weight can he be affictive at 147 like he has been at 126, 130, and 135? Can he overcome the size disadvantage?
    My opinion.
In the end I think it dpends on the fight If it is close than we will brobbly talk about it for a few weeks before our intrest goes to the next big fight. However if there is a clear and decicive winner than we will be talking about this fight with high prase for the winner for a long time. In otherwords it is not a matter of who wins but how they win.

Mannys win is going to be most impressive, DLH has more to gain as long as the fight takes place Oscar will be a much richer man

Oscar has nothing to gain, other than another billion dollars. If he wins, he beats a midget. If he loses, he's laughed out of boxing. Pac has nothing to lose, other than another 'L' on his record.

DLH has nothing to gain. Therefore PacMan has everything.

DLH gains money and you know they will credit him with the victory as the one to stop the mexican slayer. DLH wont get laughed at if he loses but people will take a look at how good pac-man realy is. If pac wins i he will take the torch from DLH and be the new face. And sadly to say I think that would bring floyd out of retirement and try to set up a fight with the pac wich I would only want to see to hope pac knocks him out. So in the end Pac has the most to gain but thats the same with anyone who fights oscar.

    :D

Pacquaio has ALL to gain and De La Hoya has none (except for money of course)

If Pac wins or even just make it competitive and close he'll get props for having the balls to slug it out with a guy three divisions heavier . . . if he loses he still laughs all the way to the bank without losing stature at 135.

Again . . . let me remind you this is nothing but an exibition fight.

De La Hoya win or lose has nothing to brag about . . . he lured a much smaller fighter into fighting him by using money as bait . . . pathetic!
