De La Hoya: “His punches don’t come from your basic boxing style; they come from all sorts of weird angles. That’s what makes him difficult." :deal

Just telling it like it is, NO ONE made DLH look that bad and it wasn't only because DLH is moving down or past it, it's the tactic Pac applied successfully. Who would have imagined that fight would end by TKO for Pac?, even the very few to pick Pac thought it will be a decision at best with ALL KO predictions being in favor of Oscar and early.

I read somewhere an interview where Arum said that Oscar always avoided southpaws like the plague

can someone who really followed Oscar's career point out who are the southpaws he faced?

Watch the punches Pac lands on Hatton. The arent textbook at all except the last KO punch.

He hits back with 3 punches, and he's not even looking at Hatton while he threw them. Phenominal.

Pac deserves credit, but Oscar was on the downside.

Now, I am beginning to have respect on dela Hoya as a fighter. He's telling it as it is as he fought him. He's gracious in defeat. All the things coming out of his mouth as a promoter however should be taken with a grain of salt.

you mean you didn't respect him earlier when he was a douche, but he magically says a nice comment about Pac and you're all over his nuts?

I really believe that Oscar, the "boxer" is sincere when he pays tribute to the likes of Pac, Chavez, Vargas, Hopkins, Gatti, Mosley, FMJ and others.

As far as Oscar, the "promoter, that's a different story altogether.

Yes, he redeemed himself with this admission. It takes a great deal of humility to do that. He finally saw the light. :D He's now one of the growing hordes of Pac believers. :good
