You are totally full of ****.

If this fight gets made then Floyd goes up again in my estimation. Cintron is a dangerous hard hiitting opponant. Clottey is the same but tends to favour hitting with his head rather than his fists.

Given their respective records I would place Cintron above Clottey, absolutely.

Cintron is not as rugged as Clottey for sure. Cintron = hardest hitter floyd ever faced. If the fight goes down.

Cintron's right hand is a cannon.

Aside from being pissed at the mess he made with not giving blood, I am thankful that pac has raised the bar for mayweather. While most people would expect him to beat cintron, it is solid welterweight fight, with one eye down the line to a pac or mosley fight I presume. Which means hopefully by the years end we will have had mayweather vs 2 welters, one of them being pac or mosley. Which may not have happened had Pac not really questioned mayweather by thumping cotto, hatton and odlh as convincingly as he did.

I'd rather PBF-Bradley but I guess Cintron will have to do.

And I guess Clottey is world class?:-( How many titles has he won? Clottey and Cintron are the same class of fighter.

top 10 WW..I know Cintron is a top 4 LMW...I would rather watch floyd fight a Collazo rather than a Cintron to be honest...The fight wouldn't even be competitive with floyd and cintron...Floyd is excellent at fighting on the inside and Cintron was exposed as an "out" fighter when he fought Jessie Feliciano...All Floyd gotta do is keep up on cintron and he'll never be able to land anything worth while

This fight(or whomever Floyd fights in March) definately needs to be on regular HBO. According to Keith Kizer, Golden Boy is planning on a Mayweather Mosely fight for June in Vegas. Why not give the fans a break considering the Mayweather/Pac fight didn't come off? Put this fight on regular HBO, and then do the big PPV in the summer.

Hmm . . . Some very interesting points in there. I, however, have to say that there is a difference between Bradley and Cintron, and that difference is the effect of either beating Floyd. Still, I feel Floyd will or would beat either, but should Cintron beat Floyd, it will be by KO, and that will be the end of Floyd's career. But Cintron would still be Kermit Cintron - - he'd still have the two humiliating losses against Margarito (regardless of packed gloves or not, I can't like a fighter who cries), and then his KO/draw against Martinez. Honestly, when I think of Alfredo Angulo, I think of a prospect who could not take the step up. In my opinion, losing to Cintron was worse for Angulo than winning was for Cintron.

Now, take Timothy Bradley. Here we have a prospect who has not, by most standards, been actually tested. He beat Junior Witter (and I must say I was impressed by his performance, but mostly because it took place in England) and he beat Lamont (and I was very impressed by this performance), but I was less thrilled by his victory over Kendall Holt (though Holt is an iffy fighter) and I was disturbed by his so-called victory of Nate Campbell (yet, Nate happens to be one of my favorite fighters). Taking all of this into consideration, I think Bradley has not been really tested. I would, however, rather him fight Marquez over Floyd, simply because I do not think Bradley has what it takes to beat Floyd - - but should he fight Floyd, Bradley definitely has, should he win, a chance of being considered an all-time great fighter, whereas Cintron, well, would just have had a lucky break. To me, this is the most important factor for who Floyd picks. Instead of picking someone over the hill (i.e. DLH), I want him to take on a young contender (i.e. Corrales or Castillo).

I agree that Collazo would be silly, but I put him on equal grounds with Cintron as an opponent who has very little to gain other than bragging rights (and for people in the boxing community to laugh and point at Floyd). As for other potential opponents, perhaps Cotto or even (and this is a long shot and I know some of you will laugh) Marcos Maidana.

Of course, more than anything else (and I have said this before), I'd like to see Floyd against Kelly Pavlik in a 20X20 ring (yes, I am dreaming).

Although this would involve 2 guys that I have somewhat of a distaste for, it isn't a bad fight at all. PBF would have a chance to prove himself against a legit ww with a punch which would go along way in helping his reputation.

Exactly. A split, technical decision win over Judah and a decision win over a Chico whom he outweighed by who knows how much.

Yet, hes such a dangerous guy.

Clottey is one of the most predictable fighters I have ever seen win a title belt. Combo, move, combo, move and you beat Clottey. And you dont even have to move quickly, just move.
