Hey, if Pacquiao can survive the first six rounds without being seriously hurt, he may have be able to outwork Oscar, who is notoriously known for fading down the stretch. Doubt he will survive the first six without getting seriously hurt, but if he did, things might get interesting. :smoke
I see DLH KOing PAC, but.....I hope that we see PAC win this one. Or at least give DLH a great fight. It could happen gents! PAC is a warrior and he's not going to roll over for DLH. The size disparity may be too much for PAC as it was for DLH at 160 when he took on Bhop, but how sweet would it be to see DLH get KO'd by the smaller guy? And I like DLH...I have no problems with the guy, but PAC is the P4P king...a WIN over DLH...even this version would send PAC's stock SOARING! And we'd get to see one of the biggest fights and biggest upsets in history. I know...I know.....you all say it won't happen. but just think....What IF?:think
Agree, 100%. Oscar will KO Pac, because he's the bigger man. Simple physics. That's what happen to Gatti when he moved up to face DLH.
I saw the thread title and wanted to make a "packs quite a wallop" joke and got beat there. I switched gears hoping to make a "I'm gonna make it a rough and tough fight" joke and waddya know, got beat there as well. Bravo folks.
Well said. I'll be rooting for the Pacman, but with more enthusiasm than confidence. It's a shame. I used to be a pretty big fan of ODLH. :-(
If De La Hoya decides to go toe to toe with Pacquaio I think he wins the first 5-6 rounds than fades down the stretch. I don't know if Pacquaio will have enough power to stop him at 147. The end result will be a split decision for De La Hoya and lots of debate over who realy won. If De La Hoya fights the way he should (make it the night of the jab). He wins easy posibily stopping Pacquaio in the later rounds.
I use to like watching De La Hoya but this is ****, further proof that boxing is dead in the U.S.. If there was any justice in the world, Pac will come out on top by brutal KO.
