I wouldnt say the only one. I dont recall PBF calling Castillo, Hernandez, Corrales or Hatton a "c" level fighter. If he did call Hatton anything, it would be "B" level fighter...certainly he recognised that Hatton was a notch above Gatti. Its not so much that Gatti didnt win, it was the way he's been thoroughly outclassed to the max, it be very hard to find a whooping like Oscar-Gatti or Floyd-Gatti. This shows that Oscar & Floyd are many levels above Gatti in terms of ability to be able to deliver and demonstrate such wide gap in ability in the ring.

You said Valuev didnt beat Ruiz(or barely) or Chagaev because he's crap and simply a beltholder. Sure I can agree that Valuev is nowhere near the boxer ODLH is, but Ruiz isnt exactly anywhere near the boxer Pac is. Point is, the skill gap between Valuev-Ruiz/Chagaev vs the skill gap between DLH-Pac(factoring DLH's age) is probably near the same. Sure weight mean's more in the lower weights but Pac is fighting a guy 10lbs heavier on the night, Ruiz was fighting a guy 100lbs heavier on the night!!! And like I said, weight class are just names, when it comes down to it all, Ruiz was delaing with much bigger weight disadvantage. In the days of LW-WW-MW format, Pac would only be moving up 1 weight.

 

In this one you made some sense altough he did say Hatton is something,C level or something,I know he said he doesn't deserve to be in the ring with him and thar he is a midget,he thought he was gonna have a easy fight with Castillo,him or somebody said if you throw a beer bottle in the ring it will hit Castillo,that's how open he is,well it turned out he wasn't that open,he always says something etc. Anyway I wasn't talking just about the second Valuev vs Ruiz fight but also the robbery in the first fight,robbery with a old Larry Donald,Valuev is ****.Anyway I don't think there is any chance Manny beats Oscar but if he does you can rubb it in my face al you want:thumbsup

 

I think Floyd has always made out he was gonna have an easy time. He points out how much better he is cos he has a very big ego. With Gatti however, he still pointed out that he was much better but also stated that Gatti wasnt very good in the first place simply calling him a C+ fighter.. A poll was done in the forum a few times on how they rate Gatti and the majority rated him a C+ fighter.

I think Pac has a good chance but if he does loose, unfortunately you wont be able to rub it in my face cos i'll be too depressed to be visiting a boxing forum for a while. lol.

 

I say Gatti was a good fighter,Floyd,Oscar,Shane are great fighters,that is the difference for me,and about Pac,don't ,worry,I'll wait till you comeback and rub it in your face,no way he beats DLH:yep :good

 

Against Hatton, that was a publicity stunt mate to sell the fight to the viewers. PBF explicitly stated after the fight in the post fight interviews that Hatton was one of the best fighters he ever fought.

 

Good fighters dont get completely oblitererated against great fighters everytime they step up. My idea of a good fighter is someone like Judah, against an elite like PBF or Cotto he put up a good enough fight. Against C level opponents, he beats them easy. Gatti went life and death with Ward. Barrios is another "good" fighter, against an elite like Guzman he put up a better fight.

Gatti on the other hand dont put up a fight. His fights against 2 elites in the game was 2 of boxing's biggest assbeating ever aswell as biggest display of the wide gap in ability in the ring.

A vs A = even fight. A VS B = close or clear fight for A. A VS C = C shouldnt even be in the same ring as A. Gatti clearly didnt belong in the same ring as DLH or Floyd.

It's hilarious how SO many in this thread insulted DLH, called him a homo, guaranteed he will win with ease and laughed at whoever said it MIGHT be competitive. Now DLH is drained beyond belief, shot and we all know Pac would beat him anyway, huh?

btw: i had a feeling pac would win because i was picking oscar and i have possibly the single worst ****ing prediction record of anyone on the forum.
