Wilder's a bum. A hype job. Joshua would school him Maybe. Fury is looking like the best heavyweight at the moment One loss, which he avenged. No one wants to see a third fight because Ruiz couldn't be bothered not to stuff his face for the second fight So you've really named two fighters who Joshua wouldn't/hasn't beaten Stiff as a robot Joyce who's already 36? Beating Joshua? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Joshua ran like a $5 ***** against Ruiz in the second fight, terrified to exchange with him. A rematch should have taken place. Wilder would take his head off. Joshua has poor punch resistance and Wilder would land a bomb and put AJs lights out. Usyk, a blown up CW made Joshua look like the glorified amateur he is. Joyce "the stiff" would break AJ down and make him cry.
Question, what do you think would hapoen if Joshua landed on Wilder ? Because joureyman Molina and mediocre Ortiz had no problem. In a match up like this it comes down to who lands first. I'll go with the significantly more skilled with noticably better head movement who's fought and beat more top 15 opponents. You think Usyk wouldn't dismantle Wilder ? That one trick pony with no ring iq ? LOL. Usyk himself said Wilder would be the easiest fight out of the 3
I dont think Joshua would fight that fight. I'd expect him to jab and move away much like Ruiz II, not takkng any chances but Wilder would eventually nail and AJ go into panic mode. If AJ were to land it would have the same impact as it did on Usyk.
Agreed but Dela Hoya erased any chance Canelo had of becoming an ATG like Ali , Robinson etc when he made him into a Peds abusing, cowardly fake champion. Fans will never forgive him fo handing back the bogus WBC belt he held. Because he was afraid to face GGG he meekly handed it back & was awarded the name El Pollo Rojo by the Mexican fans
LOL because Wilder's chin is so great. Yeah getting put on bambi legs twice by a journeyman, getting rocked and saved by the bell against Ortiz, getting stunned by Breazeale and getting punched around the ring by Tyson Fury of all people is such a great feat of punch resistance. Joshua is glass chinned but Wilder isn't a sturdy guy himself. Usyk's chin is solid Fight what fight ? Joshua isn't going to go in there carelessly but he's not going to run. He'd keep his chin tucked down, hands up, look to counter Wilder. He'd probably outjab Wilder too in the meantime. Wilder has terrible balance and if Joshua catches him with a counter he's probably getting hurt badly. Joshua moves his head much better than Wilder, counters better, has a better jab, better balance, etc. Joshua would probably land first and he'd do it easily
Why? Ruiz clearly couldn't be bothered to show up for the second fight. Why should he get a third one? So we can see an even fatter and slower Ruiz have circles run around him? So does Wilder. He got floored by body shots. That beatdown from Fury has clearly done a number on his (already very little) brain Literally every idiot that hypes Wilder up says this. 'Oh Wilder would just land a bomb and knock [fighter] out' Well, Wilder's demonstrated that he doesn't know what to do if he can't land that bomb and Joshua is not going to just let Wilder land on him, knowing his power. He'll also try to land bombs of his own and we've seen what happens when Wilder takes a pounding, which he will do because he has poor footwork and almost no defensive skills Calling Usyk a blown up CW is greatly underselling his abilities. But then, I suppose that's to be expected of someone who greatly oversold Wilder's He's never shown any evidence of it. His best fight was him beating an equally unimpressive Dubois on jabs until he quit. He's also old and hasn't really fought anyone of worth, other than maybe Dubois. Joshua would take him to school.
Eddie has done wonders for his career. He is the best promoter around (largely because he's a scumbag). 'AJ' didn't become the money boy because of his own personality, or for his medicore reign as champion. Hearn is already on the sell for the rematch and as unlistenable as it is for me, I can't think of anybody who could do a better job.
I'm no fan of Deontay but power is power. He could very well ktfo Fury this weekend, and Joshua ain't half the fighter Fury is. Who knows if Ruiz would come into a third fight outta shape. Fact remains no rematch was given. Hopefully they'll meet again so Ruiz can once more embarass poor Anthony. Usyk is a great fighter but a blown up CW like all that came before him. Takes nothing away from his accomplishments.
Why boxing is pretty much finished. Remember when people were celebrating Fury and AJ not fighting, says it all.
When you fight the best there is, it's more likely you will have losses on your record... Who'd have thought.
I would say the majority of the people celebrating were Wilder fans. But, in their defense, Wilder had a right to the rematch. Fury trying to get out of it, wasting all that time acting like he wanted to fight AJ.
