Mayweather should have been -400 vs Hatton but fell to -175 b/c of HBO and English drunkards. HBO should be able to drop the line to about -250 on DLH, hopefully PacDBest and his yolkel buddies bring it to -200.

There are no boxing techniques for DLH to learn unlike vs Mayweather, the game plan is obvious, the entire camp could be spent on making weight. DLH has always been big for his frame and managed to make weight, even if it meant tiring in the last few rounds. This shouldnt go past 9 rounds, and if it does DLH will be ahead enough to slow down and still win.

But yes, there is always a chance he grows old overnight or is terribly drained, and perhaps the odds will reflect that. Id gladly take the chance, Oscar could take him out in 5 or 6.

 

DLH going out like the cherry picking bully he always was, you have guys like Cotto and Margo taking risks, but all these other so called fierce warriors just take the softest touches available this is exactly why I detest the Calzaghe's the Kesslers, and Hoyas while others risk it all these guys fight no one get paid and no one says a thing. 1. Firstly this is a money fight. There are better fights out there for Pac to secure his legacy. There is Hatton, Margo, Cotto. Hell, even Mosley is a better fight for Pac. Fighting a "Golden Goose" that has only fought 3 times in the past 4 years is absolutely worthless.

2. De La Hoya?! Where do I begin? If he wins he loses, if he loses....well he loses big time. Again, there are better fights out there for De La Hoya yet he chooses to fight a smaller man. Pathetic

3. The real losers? Us. The boxing fans. Potentially we can sit and enjoy another fight between JMM and Pac, or Margo vs De La Hoya. But no, these money hungry whores want to fight each other and just further discolour this beautiful sport. As fans, we deserve a lot more.

Agreed. But it wont go down, because Manny Pac wont budge as far as Oscar's pitiful and insulting money offers. Pac will be granted 10 million plus a tiny cut of the PPVs while Oscar himself walks with upwards of 50 million? Thats Bull**** and Pac wont put up with it. Neither will Trinidad. Sergio Mora will because he is a poor man, as will Sugar, as Sugah has to do what de Massa order!

 

hater bull****, the guy has fought top fighters in a 30 lb range. i understand your frustration with this fight and most real fans feel the same way but making up **** and exagerating his faults does not make him a bully or coward, just extremely opportunistic.
oscar is selling what integrity he has left but at least he is selling it for a kings ransom.
i have been a fan of oscar since the olympics but if this turns out to be more than just a negotiations maneuver in the talks for his real fight i will stop being a fan.

Oh this is such a bull**** fight, I can't believe the Pacquiao fans that prefer this over the MANY options Pacquiao has at 135 and 140 just for one mega-fight. I know that Pacquiao deserves a huge payday but this is a very dangerous one, does Pacquiao plan retirement after this?, because I just can't see him going 2 divisions below and I also can't see him call out the likes of Williams/Margarito/Cotto and many other dangerous fighters at Welterweight. If Pacquiao officially signs this then it's just a payday he deserves and obviously retirement after it.
