Also, Oscar De La Hoya says if GGG comes to his senses fight can happen in 2019.
Also said Eddie Hearn has until mid June to reach deal, and if deal is not reached then Spike will be Canelo's tune up until a top MW decides to accept his challenge.

Spike shouldn't even be a consideration. But he will be the frontrunner...

Oscar is one of the best and fairest promoters in boxing. He matches his fighters fairly, he pays them what they deserve if not more, and he is willing to work with anyone.

GGG was the front runner, but he would not budge from his ridiculous 50/50 DEMAND.
Jacobs is clearly now the front runner, now Oscar is waiting on a counter offer.
If Hearn doesn't send a reasonable offer then they may just take the Spike stay busy fight in September to see what other options are available.

Canelo doesn't fight often enough to use a 'stay busy' fight. Charlo wants him, if Canelo doesn't fight Charlo, is that now a duck? I mean, if we are consistent with so many of the things your boys have said, then surely, if Canelo does not fight Charlo, he's outright ducking him. right?

He was trying to get GGG to fight him. He is now trying to get Jacobs to fight him. What do you expect him to do? lol If people want to price themselves out then he still needs to move on with his career and his fight dates of May and Sept. and when they feel ready to fight him, they know where to find him.

Canelo doesn't have any mandatory obligations. He is a contender in all 4 ABC orgs.

Charlo doesn't have to be a mandatory does he? Jacobs or Spike are mandatory challengers? Nope. So if Canelo takes Spike over someone like Charlo, would you admit it's a duck?

You have to understand the reasoning behind that attempted 50-50. GBP, through no right other that to refuse a fight, said 3G could NOT fight last December, right?

So their hands were tied in that sense, losing what would be earned revenue. And now, fast forward, Canelo gets caught w/ failed samples. Which killed the fight, rendering a normally active 3G to a long period of inactivity as well as being responsible for 3G's own revenue going away AGAIN.

So does 3G deserve a 50-50 split? Many believe so based on what I've said in regards to GBP trying to dictate 3G's career, as well as being the responsible party of their 05/05 fight being cancelled, that yes, they should get a huge increase in parity here. Canelo's image took a hit, this could repair it.

    Is Charlo calling Canelo out??

Its NO ONE's fault but GGG. he allowed himself to be bossed. Business is not for the feint of heart, its literally a dog eat dog world. There is no mercy when it comes to money. GGG got greedy and was after the Canelo payday and was careless with his career because he saw the carrot (no pun) dangling before him. His own fault he didn't know how to conduct or his team know how to conduct his business affairs. Now he doesn't have the IBF, and he doesn't have the Canelo payday.

Canelo doesn't owe anyone anything and neither does Golovkin. Business is a gamble and GGG lost this hand.

Yes, charlo has. Isal...you have to be able to stand up to the promoter you love FFS. Can you admit that it's shitty to try and tell another fighter they cannot fight so-so, and use a potential future fight as blackmail to do so? I mean, I am trying to be civil with you. But if this blind loyalty to Canelo/GBP is something you simply cannot overcome, this this attempt at civility with you is all in vain.

I remember Jermall calling out Canelo out at 154, not sure if he has at 160. Either way I think this is a fight both sides want to wait for so that it can marinate. This will definitely be a super fight in a year or two.

I think that GGG has made some terrible business decisions many times, from not enforcing mandatories to taking step aside money to more recently not fighting mandatories and requesting 50/50, I don't expect anyone to do anyone favors in business, I just don't.

So nothing to say about GBP's bullying tactics? You are fine with them making ultimatums like that? If you are smart, you damn well know the step aside payments came because there was no way in hell Cotto, and Canelo (At the time) were going to make the fights.

You see, this is a little as to why i give you **** about being fans of only highly popular cash cows. You don't seem to get the roadblocks that lesser know fighters have to get through just to get a title shot. Canelo had his first 54 shot handed to him on a silver platter versus a WW (M Hatton). Most boxers do not get any type of preferential treatment.

Of course it is........choosing Spike I mean and there’s nothing wrong with that after being out for a while but I don’t understand why we always have to play this “ who’s. Angelo gonna fight next” thing from Oscar as the whole world knows it’s gonna be Spike.

Seriously Isal I doubt Golovkin will be as excited as yourself re this and I’m not even sure if he has anything to do with the business side of things and he’ll expect K2 and loffler to negotiate ect.
