De La Hoya, Trinidad, Mosley & Whitaker....Who has the BETTER resume????

    Resume wise:

    Trinidad and DLH tied on this one... Most of their career defining moments are the same opponents, with most of them being Trinidads victims first. The only thing I have them tied is because of DLH performance against Trinidad. We could also not forget Trinidads destroying opponents at 154. Other than that, career/resume wise both are at the same accomplish level.

    I will then have Mosley edging Sweet Pea. If he keeps on performing like he is against the prime and best welterweights. Pretty soon i'll have him in the top of the list.

    Talent and skill wise Sweet Pea wins this one with no doubt follow by Mosley, DLH, and then Trinidad last.

    My PPV money def. goes to Trinidad though out of these four for excitement and a fun night.

    Contraversial i know but this is how i call it!

    Sweet Pea - Fought everyone @ the time and was robbed on many occasions, I believe his first REAL LOSS was against a prime Tito.
    Oscar - Fought the best,,,But also lost to the best convincinly...
    Tito - Great @ the time but faded quickly with age and was shut out 3 times in his career!
    Mosely - Still trucking....but will need a few more names to get up the list!

    On several different boxing sites and forums, and along with my profession of being a Basketball Writer...traveling and following High School, College and Pro Hoop talent here in the US, The Caribbean, Canada, South America and Europe.

    I hear, see and read how people think that their region of the world or culture have the best fighters, ball players and athletes. Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Europeans, Canadians, South and Central Americans have this enormous amount Pride in their Sports Figures and Athletes.

    Yet, As a Black American....When I show appreciation and become very vocal about the Athletic talents of Boxers and Ball Players that "LOOK LIKE ME"...You (and others in ESB) see that as being RACIST!!!

    And its a SAD COMMENTARY that people have that kind of uneducated rhetoric!!!

    ESB created a great site tht allows people from all over the world to share thoughts, ideas and talk about (both negative and positive) THE SPORT OF BOXING!!!!

    And if i say that Miguel Cotto's defense is poor, then I am saying it BECAUSE IT IS POOR....NOT BECAUSE HE'S PUERTO RICAN!!!!

    Whitaker was a nut man, the guy used to fly anywhere they ask to make fights possible, that was a real beast with a lion's heart.
