WHile I thought it was close, it was still a clear win for Floyd in my book.

Why must people always waste time trying to rescore fights? Mayweather won, get the **** over it.

edit: Oh, and he beat Castillo twice as well. [/thread]

Dont have my exact card here now but I remember an evenish fight until about rd 8 or 9 then Floyd pulled away, no more than 8-4, no less than 7-5 to FMJ is about right... 7-4-1 seems right.

Oscar was leading after half the fight but lost a close but clear decision. I had PBF up by 2-3 rounds.

116-112 IS close. Score 2 rounds the other way and it's a draw.

    116-112 Mayweather.

Both fighters were good defensively but struggled offensively. DLH picked off a lot of punches with his gloves, I was impressed with his defense, but could hardly land anything other than the jab. Mayweather started to land more in the latter rounds, particularly with the left jab to the body followed by the right hand to the head.

Thats what stood out most in this fight was Oscar's defense, I was really surprised. So it was a hard fight to score because both showed great defense but neither was accomplishing much offensively.

And Oscar definitely looked bad against Forbes, not that it wasnt a clear win but he was lethargic and slow. Oscar of 2002 would have stopped Forbes.
