No, Oscar faded the final 4 rounds. Floyd's corner kept telling Floyd " don't worry, we'll get him later" cause Oscar was outworking Floyd and getting the better of it until he faded starting around round 9. When they were both fresh, Oscar was winning.
Yea, I had the same scorecard. I've seen the fight about a dozen times and it was very competitive. Emmanuel said it was Floyd's roughest fight in a long time and even Floyd's dad said he'd give it to Oscar based on who touches who the most. I had Floyd winning by 2 points though.
This is the biggest pile of **** I have read on this thread. Oscar was being outclassed from the jump. he was being aggressive and not hitting ****, and PBF made him pay every time he missed. Only die hard fans of Oscar could see it any other way
Oscar only won 3 rounds by the time the fight went into the 9th round. That means Floyd already had 5 rounds in. No way was Oscar "winning" going into the 9th, he had less rounds. Oscar always got tired and faded. Someone like Oscar is too flawed to beat a Mayweather.
Then why did Floyd's corner tell him not to worry and that he'll get him later in the fight? LOL fuk man. Floyd was getting beat first 8 rounds, deal with it. Floyd wasn't doing fuk all. One punch at a time.
At worst, it was 4 rounds a piece going into the 9th. I had oscar up 5-3. Don't forget, oscar won on one of the judges scorecards. Floyd was banking on Oscar getting tired. He couldn't beat a fresh, yet past prime oscar. He had to wait till Oscar faded down the stretch to actually win the fight.
DLH was past it sure, but he had every damn advantage. He fought Floyd above his natural fighting weight and Floyd looked slow and sluggish throughout the fight.
I used to respect Leaderman, me and him used to always score the fight identical but **** started going down hill from the Martinez-Williams fight. Me : 115 - 113 Martinez Leaderman: 115 - 113 Williams Me : Round 1+2 Martinez Leaderman: Round 1+2 (minus the KO) Williams I didnt hear the HBO broadcast for the Marquez fight but seeing that he scored the fight for Pacquiao just takes the **** now. He has a good knowledge of boxing but hes sold out completely.
When i first started scoring i thought Lederman was the guy to take notes from. First time i picked up a pen was Martinez Williams I. I was like: "Huh..wait... that cant be right" They actually gave Williams the first round in the rematch
