I believe this was Oscars best weight for allround speed Power and mobility, I think Duran was an awsome lightweight (best in history),

Can Reborto Close Oscar down can he hurt the bigger man?

Can Oscar slice Duran up with left hook?

    Me.....I go Duran split decision.

There is way too many Oscar haters and old time nostalgics on this board for you to get a non biased response on this but I agree with you. Duran by close decision

Just using Leonard/Duran ! &2 as a yardstick---Roberto would have overwhelmed Oscar in a toe to toe fight and I feel that Oscar could never have fought the Leonard 2 type of fight which was the only way of outsmarting the very durable comeforeward attack of Duran.:smoke :smoke

If Duran could get past ODH's Jab and get inside...He would suffocate and out fight ODH. I think of the vargas fight. This could go either way. Good H2H, this is very interesting and I would need time and to watch both guys at the weight to make a better decision. You cant just say it off the top of your head. Too many variables.

At 140 a peak Duran would destroy Oscar. Break him down, stop him late.

i think the ending is like that as well, but fishnets would have taken one or two early rounds.

Duran beats Oscar badly at any weight. But I don't think DLH gets stopped at 140, I think he gets stopped at 147 or higher due to Duran's body work.

I can understand if some of you guys want to vote for Duran to win... but for those of you claiming Duran would win by knockout? You are crazy.

De La Hoya at 140 was not fully developed in terms of filling out his body and was relatively inexperienced. Duran would maul him and break him down. I could see De La Hoya's jab and hand speed giving Duran some problems, but Duran would prove to be too much for the youngster as he takes a convincing decision or possibly stops him late.

De La Hoya was a greater head to head force at this weight than any other most likely.

Id pick him to win by stoppage late but because Oscar would get tired like he usually does and Duran would be abusing that body.
