    Duran decision.

But theres far too much DLH hating on this board, people forget what a monster he actually was.

Oscar NEVER tired late at that weight. Go watch his 12 round boxing clinic that he put on the undefeated Miguel Angel Gonzalez. One of the best displays of technique, defense, power, and speed that you will ever see. The entire myth of Oscar getting tired late surrounds on a couple fights anyways. Did he tire late against Quartey? No, he won the fight in the 12. Did he tire late against Vargas? No, he knocked Vargas out in the 11th. Hell, even in the Mosley rematch Oscar threw more and landed more punches in the 12th round than either fighter did in any other round. On thing is for sure... back in the day that we are talking about, Oscar was KNOWN for his strong finish.

I think De La Hoya could win this one. At lightweight, he'd get beat about 7/3. At 154lbs, he'd win about 6/4. The higher the weight class, the bigger the chance De La Hoya has got, which makes a bout at 140 or 147lbs interesting.

In 10 fight sat 140 and 147lbs, a 5/5 finish would in both series' would not suprise me at all.

De La Hoya is vastly underrated, by the way. The guy was awesome during his prime. Duran is certainly not in a different league, and these fights would all be close, regardless of who won in the end.

I scored for DLH by decision but would there be a ko it would go to DLH. DLH was just too much for anyone when he was younger. Duran would be explosive but I fear he would be taken down many times if not ko'd. Oscar just has a cooler head. Young Oscar didn't tire early.
