De La Hoya vs. Trinidad officially in negociations.

    I'll pay to see it if they do. It may have a better chance of living up to the hype the first fight produced. Fightwise, I mean. It won't mean much for boxing's future standings in the junior middleweight division. If they fight, that's where it happens. De la Hoya is not fighting at 160.

    De la Hoya can't run like he could the night they first fought. Trinidad is much stronger now. He could alway punch at welter, but if you remember, he didn't wasn't nearly as frightening as he became when he moved up in weight.

    Oscar will still be able to beat Trinidad to the punch at times. He has less motion on his punches, and his hands are faster. Trinidad will have more chances to connect, because Oscar doesn't have the same legs. If Oscar thought Vargas was strong(I know he was juicing) wait until he is in the ring with Tito at this weight.

    Little bit of an update, Don King has a January 08 date available for Tito. All that is left to do is find an opponent and actually convince Tito to do it (which he will for the way things are looking). On the downside, Tito is still talking about his dad as his trainer. He is targeting as possible opponents the winner of Winky/Hopkins, De la Hoya and Jermaine Taylor.

    I think as this point in his career, he should go for Jermaine. He has a knockout with his name on it somewhere.
