If this fight goes ahead then what will be the weight that they will fight at - 154 or higher

Tito's last 5 fights except for Jones (170) was fought at around 160 mark

Will De Lay Hoya be willing to fight @ 160 / 170

    Thoughts

no de la hoya will not make a good fight at that weight and he knows it.tito cant even make weight at 160 anymore so the hype is just to let cotto know that he better win on the 26. cotto is the frontrunner to fight de la hoya

Tito is too lazy and self consumed to change his mind and come down in weight even though that's what virtually every fan, pundit, and insider believes would be best for his performance capability and the possibilty of making this fight a reality.

I'm guessing if it did happen it would have to be at 160, but I highly doubt it would ever happen. Trinidad to me either can't make the weight, or would be too lazy to even try, and I don't think Oscar would ever want to go back up to 160 after what happened to him last time up there. The talk about this fight just seems like a lot of BS to me.

I think Tito is f'n lazy. Period. If RJJ can get down to 169.5 to fight him, why can't he cut down to a catchweight of say 156-158lbs? Especially for the kind of money he stands to make. I don't get it.

This fight won't happen. Not even worth talking about any possibilities

Perhaps it is not lazyness but the mere fact that he is content with the W that he was awarded against Oscar De La Hoya, and would rather not risk losing to him because that would only reaffirm what most already know, that De La hoya really did beat him and would probably always beat hi. Just my two cents.

Well Trinidad is an old man in boxing terms and add in the fact that he's apparently 'retired' and the fact that he's made a lot of money himself already, and ask yourself why would he even want to come back just to put his body thorugh extreme pain again? If you look at it from Tito's point of view it doesn't seem worth it really.

I suggest to him just to call it quits finally and enjoy his millions... this fight made sense years ago, but not now. So hang them up and call it a career.

If Tito can no longer make 157-160 he needs to stop.

No offense but we are going on almost 10 years since the first fight happened. I dont want to see this fight.

They should have Chavez/Whitaker and Leonard/Hearns on the undercard while we are at it.

If Titos a old man at 35 what the hell is RJJ at 40 and he had it in him to drop 6 pounds and he had alot less body fat on him then Tito does.
