Everything Uli posted is still just 'here say' my original post about it still holds strong because if they were cheating they would have been caught way before Tito was 40 fights into his career.

 

i'm happy to hear what ulii or anyone else has to say actually.

Nah it's all good he has the right to his opinion but I do believe he is working off an agenda and that's to discredit Tito.

It's a FACT the the way Papa trinidad wrapped Tito's hands were ILLEGAL.

It's a FACT the commission made Trinidad re-wrap his hands because they were ILLEGAL.

It's a FACT Papa Trinidad has ALWAYS wrapped Trinidad's hands that way.

And

It's a ILLEGAL to wrap your hands into a castlike wrap for a damn good reason.

 

They made him re-wrap his hands because team Hopkins was going to pull out at the last minute of the fight. And Manny Stewart had a quote I dont remember it word for word but he basically said if you think Tito got 34 ko's by putting on extra tape then you know nothing about boxing.

 

I don't dislike fighters. (Though I do dislike their fans.) But you are right, I do have an agenda. I do not think highly of Trinidad because when HE cheats he does it in a very dangerous way. He increases the chances of permanent damage to the opponent, which imo is classless, scanless, and just plain wrong.

It's not like he cheat by faking a low blow or spitting out his mouth peice. He intentionally puts the opponents health more at risk than it shouls be.:twisted:

put yourself on the line more and either back it up or admit defeat. i can do both.

 

Then answer me this. Why is it illegal? Cast like wraps, why are they banned? Why did Trinidad's camp admitt GUILT by re-wrapping them?

It's not the extra tape dude, it's the added weight on the fist, the cast like wraps.

 

Of what I said tell me which wasn't a FACT. BTW, if you don't want to take me serious, don't. I'm just telling it how it is. You can be apologetic towards Tito if you want, but that doesn't change the fact he cheated.

 

If Tito did essentially "bring a bat to a fist fight" he would have been able to KO a way past prime Whitaker and Camacho he would have been KO a very green David Reid, and he would have eventually KO Oscar De la Hoya but he did'nt and that because Oscar laid out a blueprint on how to beat Tito which both Winky and Hopkins followed thru on, again the cheat has to fit the image which it does'nt in this case.

I answered your question already they rewrapped them because of the fight not happening at the very last minute.

 

Interesting. Hopkins' camp is SO convinced that Trinidad has a very unfair advantage with his hand wraps, so much of an advantage that they are willing to NOT go on with the fight.

If you ask me that is a great sign of showing concern on behalf of Hopkins side.

And why didn't they re-wrap them the same way? Papa Trinidad was pissed in another interview and he ADMITTED wrapping them differently took away from his son's power.

 

Just like no fingerprint is the same neither is the comforbility level of how each fighter likes their hands to be wrapped for example guys like Floyd Jr. and ODLH have hand wrapping specialist to wrap their hands, because if anyone else does it their effectiveness is not going to be the same and it does'nt even concern power necessarily
