I actually don't know, so I'd love a legit answer. why was Oscar absent this whole time? Was he dealing with his substance issues or was he content just letting Schaefer run things?

 

Legit answer is probably a mix of both. Schaefer was doing a great job for GBP until he handed the TV dates over to Haymon, and stopped re-signing fighters so Haymon could sign promotional agreements with them under the guise of "Advisory" agreements.

 

He doesnt have to look further, **** just go outside take a guy out of his cab put some boxing gloves on him and you have a guy who can beat that street rat Broner.

 

That would actually be a good fight. Bradley, the hardworking will of steel, consummate professional vs a literal walking douchebag. The promotion will be great.
