The reason you guys don't have any $$$ is because you don't know what the sure bet is!
You guys are always picking the top dog (which doesn't pay much) or you are picking long shots (which are usually losers) and you end up broke ass like you started.
You have to Research, Invest and Reinvest to make money.
Oscar is a risk taker at times and has fought most of the best that his various weight classes had to offer.
Now we have shorter guy that wants to try to beat the bigger man.
Oscar is getting older...so he's got to go with what advantages he has...reach.
This fight could either be a Hearns vs Duran or a Aaron Pryor vs Alexis Arguello....or maybe a Arguello vs Ray Mancini (the great white dope) LOL!

Its pretty simple, he has paid his dues to the sport in a long career with many credible wins and now he is seeking the best risk:reward fights in his final days. He understandably talks a lot of **** to promote his fight to the public. At the least, hopefully the bull**** he talks to the main stream media and non-boxing fans lures them into watching the fight and becoming fans of the sport.

And i think people also need to recognise the fact that he fought the best fighter in the world only a year ago.

 

I'm not joining in on a hating campaign against a fighter who's fought Whitaker, Trinidad, Mosley, Hopkins, and Mayweather.

He's done his part for the sport.

It's not a long drive. You can get cheap hotel accomadations and then throw some cash down on your Fighters at the Sportsbook. There is NOTHIN in the World, like Sin City, on the Strip on Fightnight.
