He's become so soft spoken it's hard to believe, I believe he has said he never had a fight outside the wrong so he problably is very apologetic.
Didn't he say in an interview once that he suffers from depression from time to time? Very common among ex-fighters, their brains take a serious beating and they often have mental issues.

My favorite fighter of all time. When De La Hoya fought, that was THE sporting event of the weekend or even week with all the buzz and build up. I miss those big weekends in boxing. Floyd and his cinco de mayo, tired trashing talking b.s. just doesn't cut it.
Yeah, he had a severe depression. He was addicted to cocaine and alcohol. So he's always feeling pretty tense and is taking it 'day by day'. The whole 'dress-up' thing....I don't talk low of him about that or make jokes about it. Oscar was literally at the lowest of the lows, add to the fact that he was on an intense coke high. It's not as if a 'normal' person is on a coke high, which makes normal people act weird enough.
I've always liked ODLH, but he'll go down in history as an underachiever. He lost almost every fight he was in. Or...was every fight he lost a big fight? :think
