It depends if De La Hoya "forgets to throw the jab"

No version of Oscar beats Floyd, I'm not sure how anyone can deduce otherwise.

A common misconception. He didn't forget his jab. That doesn't even make sense. It was taken away from him.

I don't know why people always say Delahoya vs . Mayweather 2007 was close , when it was not .

    Highly competitive ? Yes

Razor close ? Not at all .

I probably watched the fight 3,4 times and always had the same score

    116-112 Mayweather .

Its an easy fight to score .

Now a Prime Oscar definitely kicks Floyds ass .

Oscar at 147 had faster hands and would be able to get to Floyd a lot more than he did in 2007 .

Delahoya is the only fighter in history that made Floyd look uncomfortable , I don't even know if Castillo was able to do that against Floyd because I have not seen that fight in so many years .

Where do you get this about DLH having more stamina when he gassed in his absolute prime against Trinidad in a fight that was far from being fought at a high pace?

Oscar, himself said he always had mental problems right!! His own words, not mine!!

99 Oscar would win on points or stop FMJ. DLH was very fast, his jab was amazing, no stamina issues, very strong left hand and most importantly he was a fighter, not a business man.

de la hoya, no question.. much younger, faster and stronger in '99 than he was in '07.

Still flat footed still **** stamina still came up short in big fights still a one handed fighter still struggled with guys with defense and speed. PBF at 147 in 07 was much more mobile than he was at his first fight at 154 in 07, just take a look at his fight with Baldo right before he fought Oscar at 154. He would have moved on Oscar's ass all night and outboxed him in the middle of the ring at 147.
PBF > Oscar period end of discussion and May 5th 2007 will always be known as Cinco De Mayweather.:deal:hi:

Many of you are only suggesting a better version of Oscar and not considering a lighter Floyd w/smaller gloves. A tougher fight, no doubt, but I think Floyd wins.

I hate both these guys but I think Floyd would win around 7-5. Oscar lost or was gifted almost every big fight of his career

uhm, no. oscar was not flat footed, like trinidad was. and he really showed **** stamina against quartey, didn't he? '99 oscar too fast and strong for floyd.

may 5th 2007 will always be remembered as one **** ppv for anybody that actually remembered watching leonard-duran, leonard-hearns, arguello-pryor etc. live as it happened. slightly pathetic.
