Great exhibition of DLH's skills, but was never my favorite fights of his. I own all DLH fights except 2. JCC 1 and JCC2. Don't know why, maybe out of respect for JCC, but don't particular enjoy those bouts. I own Pac/DLH as well and don't particular enjoy rewatching that one either.

There would have been a much greater outcry had the decision gone the other way. It was a close fight, DLH trailing one point before the 12th round if I remember correctly. The 12th round is a two point round. Close fights are just that, subjective, but its hard to give it to Quartey in face of that final round.

I have all of them minus the Pac and Forbes ones, and even have his most notable amateur fights and Olympic fights. I haven't watched any of them for a while but like to put an old one on just for memories. If you watch the young version of during or before the 1st Mosley fight you get a sense of how much better he really was then the Oscar we saw the last few years before he retired. I remember he would bounce/box so much more and Foreman would say "Oscar's bouncing, he's feeling good in there!" lol

Holy ****. Just remembered his fight with Miguel Angel Gonzalez. Boxed like an absolute legend against a legitimate and dangerous opponent. The jab was artistry!

That fight should be considered as the overall performance was beautiful!

Chavez reminds me a little of Pac. At their prime, who do you have? Chavez or Pac?

I'm going to say Quartey because it was a hard earned fight and Oscar showed a lot of heart. I would have voted Trinidad, but running (literally) when you had the fight in the bag...

i would be a good fight but at 140 i got Chavez by 11 round stoppage pac likes to trade way to much and chavez has a great chin. and he's not as slow as most people belive. i think he stoppas pac with a body shot from that sweet left hook. anything above 140 pac just out speeds him cutting his ass up

i voted for Vargas fight. Beat a man who was bigger, stronger, faster, just as good boxing skills, Roided to the 10power, and was looking to take his head off. Vargas wa man handling his ass for the first few rounds. Dlh in the end outlasted him and beat his ass

Agreed except Oscar was faster than Vargas IMO and had a more lethal punch, being the left hook.
