i guess this fight is cool after his brutal TKO loss...also its for the WBO strap that WIlliams left behind to campaign @54.

Sweet. Can't wait to see Cotto back in the ring kicking some butt again.

**** man...how many people go on this website and dont read the ****in' articles?

Arum gave Cotto an ultimatum...fight Jennings...or wait for your fight with Margo...I think if I were Cotto...I'd tell Arum to **** himself and go free lance...Cotto actually wanted Paul Williams and Cintron...but Arum said Jennings or nothing

SO now were left with this 5 round beat down of Jennings...leaving Cotto ill-prepared for the Margarito match and Margarito being more prepared with a Mosley fight...:-( ****in' BS man...:bart

I'm glad to hear that Cotto will be fighting in February. There was some discrepancies between him and Arum about if and whom would be his next opponent before the Margo rematch. Even though I would prefer Cotto to fight someone who will better prepare him for the Margo rematch like Cintron, I'm always excited to see him fight regardless of the opponent.

I feel the same way. I was really hoping to see a Cotto/Cintron bout for a number of reasons but mainly because Cintron's size and power are comparable to Margarito's. Cotto need to get in some quality work against an opponent who will physically challenge him if he is to find success in a Margo rematch imo. I haven't seen Jennings fight but hopefully Cotto can get in some quality work against him.

Jennings will give him a decent workout before being stopped around the fifth.

He has average power, average speed and average chin - probably in the top 3 welters in the UK, around #20 on a Brit P4P list.

cotto needs to speak rather than let bob arum pick all his opponents without cotto having a say in it. His sparring session with gomez wasn't much of a tune up fight for margarito and now he's going to do it again while margo's going to get a better fight against moseley.

Cotto is going to stop jennings easily. Jennings has never faced anyone close to cotto's ability, so it's a another waste of time for everybody. Bob arum is just as bad as frank warren.

    Jennings isnt bad

He's certainly a level above Lockett but I wouldn't expect him to see the 8th round.

even mohamed ali didn't fight world beaters every time. its a tune up fight after a heavy defeat, happens all the time. and nowhere near as bad as the lockett farce.

Cotto SHOULD be able to wear Jennings down and stop him sometime after the ninth, but if he takes this guy lightly or is still suffering after Margo he could be in for a bad night.

Jennigns is a quality boxer with insane fitness and a very cool head.

As I said this SHOULD be Cottos night but this will not be a walkover !

hold on. if cotto is making 3 million not including ppv revenue then wat is jennings making?

i mean 3 million is alot when your not including ppv money and its gotta be shared with pavlik aswell so how is jenning gettin paid. i mean he has gotta be gettin well compensated if he's gonna be gettin a career ending beating
