Dealing With A Sparring Partner Who Wants to kill you in sparring sessions

Some guys have next to nothing if they can't club you. They're given a bit of slack to open up. It seems wrong but you're fighting surprise surprise sometimes you have to show some ticker. If noone ones standing up for you then they're all still probably watching. If you can't match his enthusiasm, search for tips against wild and slugger styles. There's a lot you can practise against clubbers. He'll help out your confidence if you can beat him

Also chances are you are making mistakes while he's sparring you, don't repeat the mistakes. Talk to him and ask what you're doing wrong.

 

Was sparring this Chinese kid much lighter/smaller than me. I box aggresively but hold back and out of nowhere he smashes me right on the chin to the point I see a white flash. I wasnt dazed but that still was very hard. I mean it was impressive that he was able to reach me up there and hit me clean but I hate it when I go home with a headache without taking home a prize
