    Thanks for posting this NJR.Good interview.I remember Byrne stepping in against a tough Frenchman nobody seemed to want,with very little experience himself and giving a good account of himself.Also against Carson Jones,another one nobody wanted.Got a well deserved draw.Hes right when he says hell tackle anybody.Good luck to him and good luck with your degree.

    He took the fight with the French lad on a days notice and had only fought the week before.

    I know it was very short notice,McGuinty.Also I don't think Carson Jones would have got an opponent that night if not for Dean.And after his showing with Kell he was seen as one to steer clear of.Bit of a throwback,young Byrne.
