Yeah Dean Byrne was a fast boxer, with not alot of power. Had some success with Johnny Lewis when he was here including the Aussie Junior Welter Title. Would have liked to see him face some other Aussies around that weight class, as its pretty loaded.:deal
Has Dean left Australia.I knew a few of his fights fell through recently, so maybe he's coming back to Ireland where he would be a welcome addition to the Irish fight scene. I'm also aware that Brian Peters[the Irish Promoter] was in talks with Dean last year about a potential Irish Lightwelter title fight.
That's right. I think he had immigration dramas and was not allowed to re-enter Australia so he has ended up at Wildcard Gym.
