Enzo said he could get down to 175 for a big fight

dean francis is fighting for the WBO title in January, which he can logically win

both frank warren fighters and WBO would sanction the fight

Francis has been stopped twice and no one can deny Enzo is a big puncher (i mean Frank Warren said he was the biggest P4P puncher in the world)

Would Enzo loose any power at light heavy

I would love Enzo to move down to light heavy... that would be very exciting.

Francis is the favourite for me. 65/35 if he beats Erdei.

If he can outbox Erdei, he can sure as hell outbox Macca. If he can take Erdei out given Erdei's defence and risk-averse style, he has a good chance against Macca too, given Macca's chin, especially at 175.

Does Macca have a chance? Sure! A puncher's chance...but how much power would he have at 175?

Why does Flint never give his opinions in any of these threads that aren't started by him, btw? He didn't reply to my Froch v. Macca thread either! :huh

I'm going to predict right now that Macca would look awful at LHW.

Firstly, he may not retain as much power.

Secondly he's only a moderately quick cruiser, he would look like a snail against any average LHW. He would find it a shock to the system seeing the speed of those punches coming, and a good LHW sees his **** coming with ease.

He'd be weaker in the legs and his already questionable ability to take a punch would be even worse.

I think he'd end up looking like Chris Byrd before too long.

Wow, if Francis beat Erdei, then Maccarinelli beat Francis, that would make Enzo linear at 175 as well as being the bestest ever Cruiserweight in history.

The world would then demand Calzaghe v Maccarinelli for the Light Heavyweight Linear and Ring Championships in front of 400 thousand at the specially extended Milliennium Stadium!

Francis would KO Enzo, and I would love to see this one.

Really he was stopped once, vs Ballogou. I think he was a bit weight drained, and he learned very well from the fight about tactics and conditioning.

The other time it was the shoulder injury.

Anyway, Francis is really a super middleweight, and Enzo's a cruiser, so the size difference looks too much. Deano's a vastly superior talent though, especially ten years ago.
