Not seen Francis to judge him but boxrec people say he was well schooled and could of gone far If It wasn't for the shoulder.

Oakey's one of those guys who aims to outwork you so what do you guys think?

I havn't seen Francis since his comeback, it all depends what he has left. He was a VERY good fighter in his day with a decent punch.

Oakey should win on points....... Gutted though Francis was one of my fave fighters.

I see Oakey outworking him too. Francis was a fave of mine, but I don't think he has much left in the tank. Only takes Oakey walking onto one big shot though, so there is some intrigue

francis CLEARLY still has problems with his shoulder(real or psychological) as he was boxing pretty much one handed against mbenga, seemingly unwilling to throw the right hand. he cant do that against oakey. clearly the better boxer though, and seeing as oakey is the betting favourite, francis might be worth a punt as if he can throw the right i see him winning this comfortably.

i saw him fight gbenga...nice jab not much right hands...good movment...last time i saw him was at cruiser and he looked horrible..but now he looks in decent shape and has all the moves...But not as young as before and he isnt as fast as before so he will be needing to use technique than anything else

I pick Oakey on points as Francis probably won't throw many, if any, right hands. Judges don't seem to like guys fighting one handed even if they are having some success.

Impressive first round by Francis, Oakey cut and marked up and eating jabs. Francis throwing a couple of right hands too.

And then impressive second round from Oakey and Francis hurt and cut. One all.

    That was great fight.

Domestic fight of the year maybe?

Well done to Francis; I thought he was gone after 5 rounds. What a comeback!!!!

fantastic fight. i though that the commentators were writing franscis off a bit early. I had a small bet on franscis at 12 to 1 in play. didn't like the way oakey was taking too much punishment

    Great fight.

Any chance there is still something really big out there for Francis?
