    It's weird how you can feel a real sense of loss and devastation when someone you respect and like but have never met passes on. RIP Dean Powell ♥

    Thanks, I've been proper choked up about it for a good few hours.

    Our sport is so much poorer without him. The there's his family to think of. So sad

    Well said.

    Powell was a boxing man through and through and his loss will be felt by any British boxing fan who has followed the sport over the last 20 years.

    I'm sure the Copper Box arena show on the 21st September will pay him a full and fitting tribute.
