    Salas said that Big Joe made Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter quit in sparring. They were supposed to be doing six rounds but Hunter quit after five. I can't find the interview now though.

    It'll take a good boxer or decent puncher to beat Joyce, Hammer is neither. The only real question here is whether or not Joyce can secure the stoppage. or if Hammer will manage to fight negatively enough to see the cards.

    At least Joyce is staying active, I guess. Hard to fault him if other top contenders seem to want no part of him.


    Hammer's a pretty tough guy, but he's not tricky enough to elude or fiddle his way through the building storm he'll face here. I'd be majorly surprised if he lasts the distance.
