Breland's job is to teach. Wilder's job is to learn. All Breland can do is show him. It is up to Wilder to process and implement. Breland was a world class boxer himself. The fact that Wilder has a former fighter as a trainer and still shows little improvement through the years, suggests the problem isn't Breland.

It amazes me excuses exposed fighters come up with. Remember when Price got exposed? They wrote off that Thompson just caught him with a lucky shot. Wilder has been exposed and he will never get back where he was. His team tried to keep him away from fighters that could hit him back because they knew his chin was ****. **** Ortiz was one punch from stopping Wilder. His team felt Fury had nol punching power so that is why they fought him. Wilder has one of the most padded records in boxing. Now we know why they kept him away from Klitschko. Wilder and Joshua both have been exposed for the glass jawed frauds they are. You can't fix a bad chin.

He might have a point. These long theatrical cosplay ringwalks can be physically as well as emotionally draining. Just look at Fury. He didn't want to take any chances and had people carry him instead to the ring, the lazy bum.Lol.

This is up there with Wladimir "Vaseline" Klitschko and Toe-gate.

So basically, a bit of fabric is the reason why Wilder lost?

This is not pointed at you but at the whole general line of reasoning in this thread. The idea that an elite professional athlete would be rendered incapable of standing up or keeping his balance due to walking in the ring carrying 40 extra pounds is comical.

I think the whole costume thing is silly. But.
..I'm not buying for a minute it was the deciding factor in the fight.

Not taken as pointed at me, as i only commented on my observations about the mask from a sports physiology perspective, i never mentioned the rest of his outfit.

Likewise i stated twice that i was not suggesting that the mask affected or had any effect upon the bout.

If the mask or indeed the rest of outfit negatively affected Wilder, then of course there is only one person to blame, Deontay Leshun Wilder.

    The most pathetic excuse .

He is a built 6'7 231 lb man. 40 lbs should be nothing.

If Wilder decides to ride a golf cart to the ring with no costume for his entrance and pulls off a victory in the third fight, this will be the weirdest trilogy I've seen in my life. :treadmill:
