Or Monzon, or Robinson, or Burley, or or Hopkins, or Tiger...not that Hagler is beneath these guys, just that you shouldn't pick a middleweight. There is to much to close at the top.

A great pick at 175. Guys who you would need to watch for:

    Langford - Favourite
    Jones - Favourite
    Charles - Favourite
Moore - Probably a slight underdog but not by much
    Patterson - As Moore.

He was only beaten once by greb but went on to beat greb, i think tunney stacks up well against most at 175.

81-1-3 48 ko's plus 2 wins over dempsey even though dempsey should of won the 2nd (14 secounds)

I would not make langford a fav over tunney yes an excelent fighter robbed of being a chance to be a world champion by bigotry.

Charles also great fight but i wouldnt make him a fav either

Jones would be an intresting match up

I'm not picking someone who's gonna try and peck and run from death for 12 rounds.

Right now give me Miguel Cotto.

Well, for starters -- you should always pick a fighter from the lighter weights, as it decreases the chance of one punch deciding the entire fight. That said, Ricardo Lopez is probably optimal.

Current day boxing, I'd pick Floyd Mayweather at 140 pounds.

    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Charley Burley
    Thomas Hearns
    Roberto Duran
    Fritzie Zivic
    Mickey Walker

Loi, Mayweather, Napoles, Walcott, the list goes on and on and on. No way.

    Exactly.

Take mid 60's Ali and death can have anyone, black, white, chinese or mexican, at any weight he wants.

    You'll survive.

I am taking a prime James Toney, he would talk **** to death and then whip it's ass. In the post fight interview he would repeatedly scream " I got milk ***** " at a horrified Jim Gray.
