Death of the "TV Friendly" fighter :)

It is exactly what you said. You said, and I quote these three "in todays climate WOULDN'T be considered "TV FRIENDLY"", yet they were. I have many Ring magazines from the 70's, 80's and 90's, and trust me, these three fighters were considered exciting.

And Hagler ha loads of exciting fights. Sure, a few poor ones, but he had enough great ones to call him exciting.

You're definition of what people consider exciting is way off. Seriously.

But they aren't saying what "YOU" like, are they? When they say someone is TV friendly, they are summing up the entire viewing demographic. They aren't saying "Every single person in the world loves to watch this fighter". Do you really need this pointing out to you? It's a summation for ****s sake. It's not specific about anyone in particular. The majority would consider them exciting.
