No word yet from either camp?
I expect Wlad has to settle for Povetkin then, not a bad fight at all but not what he or boxing fans wanted.

Chef are you in town? Maybe you have some surprising news?

British papers reporting Haye decided that Wlad's proposed date was too soon and he wanted more time to rest and spend with his family. (last I heard Saturday)

I heard Booth say he would rather fight Vitali so would wait until after his fight to negotiate.

Im getting the feeling he is riding the storm

    wait for Vitali to retire

hope Wlad is upset by somebody like Povetkin so he has an easy unification for the belts

Yep heard that too, but I believe Wlad's camp still tried to make to fight happen anyway. Today is the deathline for the IBF or WK has to fight the mandatory wich is Povetkin.

According to BILD, Wlad will most likely fight Povetkin next. Sauerland tries to bring this fight to Moscow.

Back in 2008 Team Klitschko won the purse bid with a bid of 13 million $. Now Sauerland is looking for sponsors in Russia to outbid Team Klitschko and bring the fight to Moscow.

It looks like Haye is jerking them around and it's sad. Haye's claim to fame so far is that he's called out the Klitschkos and they want to fight him, but if he's not fighting them what is the purpose of his existence?
Anyway, I'd like to see Haye offer Vitali a contract - if he's so keen on fighting him.

If that's true than I'm not surprised at all. Haye always has pathetic excuses. He can easily sign a fight for late 2010 and have months of relaxation and family time.

Not to mention that he's only fought two times in the last two years, how much more family time does he need? :nut

Haye is so quiet. He needs to take the fight.

    Wlad calls him out.

Make unification happen. Come on David Haye, don´t be so scared.

I think he is holding out for Vatali if im honest.
I hope he does fight Wlad tho. If the fight doesnt take place, blame can only really lie at Haye and his camp IMO. Sure Haye might want a rest after a tough fight in Ruiz, but its only negotiations for **** sake!
