Debate over. Andre Ward is the greatest SMW ever, well clear of Calzaghe.

mm put another way, Calzaghe never had the ability to do what Ward has done, but Ward clearly can surpass what Calzaghe did, hes pretty much there already and will be beyond.

Or paraphrased, Joes career trajectory at any point is lower than Wards trajectory. I'll assume one knows what trajectory means.

Ward is greater than Calzaghe by a landslide. The funny thing about Joe was that he openly cared about his undefeated '0'. Ward does not give a **** about that whatsoever, and he is still undefeated. Ward would mop the ****ing floor with Calzaghe. And I really hope to God Joe comes out of retirement to get KO'd, and brought out on a stretcher that ****ing ******.

That picture of Calzaghe is when his career was done and dusted, if we take a Calzaghe picture when he was same age as Andre Ward it would look like this:-

And it is clear to see who had accomplished more around the same age.

come on dude, Calzaghe was not easy to stop, he was never stopped or floored for long by bad to middling opposition, and never stopped by the two decently prime fighters he faced either.

if he was easily stopped he would have had at least one KO loss in his record.

Cal had good recovery even if he hadnt great legs and chin, he is always going to last to the end with Ward, though he'd get retired by him andlose his good looks.

Ward will KO him prime vs prime end of story. Calzaghe RAN from opposition, Ward RAN TO opposition. Shut your ****ing mouth and cancel your account.

mm yep, WBO belt was a worthless peice of **** back then, worse than the European title.
Actually Calzaghe would have acehived more had he won the Euro title.

Calzaghe had longevity that we don't know Ward will have. Assuming Ward gets knocked out a few times, there's no chance he'll rank higher than Calzaghe.

tbf, thats the same as assuming that Calzaghe would get KOed agasint slightly better opposition than the crap he faced.

In that theres no difference, both are fallible.

Ward has to get knocked out to be ranked above Calzaghe?:huh

Ward just needs to beat up the likes of Mario Veit, Rick Thornberry and Byron Mitchell in his next three fights and he would surpass Joe Calzaghe's SMW resume.

Then Ward needs to move up to LHW, beat up Cleverly and Cloud and he would surpass Calzaghe in the ATG ranks.
