It's funny...Before he fought Tito 90% of fight fans didn't say Tito was too small. Hmm...what changed..oh thats right a a$$ kicking...when he fought Pavlik..most felt the Ghost would beat Hopkins...what happen..oh Pavlik wasn't that good...well that also sounds like whtat was said before and afte the Tarver fight..and how manytimes in his career was he too old and was to be beat from.....Joe Lipsy, A. Echols, and many others...Saturday was a joke and any fool that paid for that crap, you got what ya shouldv'e got....CRAP. Hopkins is a HOF fighter and did it his way.

People who dislike hopkins have been using the "he beats up on little guys" line for years. Regardless of a lot of these guys being naturally smaller, Hopkins has had most of his signature victories in his late 30's and 40's and that counts for something too. If trinidad or DLH would have won, would people be accusing them of picking on the elderly?
and hopkins is not a naturally stocky dude.

Old man Hopkins is a clown. He should star in a Werthers Originals advert. He is a ham actor, a bit like Kevin Bacon.:rofl

The wonderful thing about ragging on Hopkins is there's no reason to limit oneself to him fighting smaller fighters. There's also the false advertising where he turns himself into the victim despite consistently having advantages for most of his career, the fights he lost out on because of his negotiating or just flat out backing out on (Roy II, Calzaghe, Adamek, Toney), the faking fouls while fighting dirty himself.

To the original poster, I say- think bigger!

Without fouling? You clearly aren't and never were a Hopkins fan he's been fouling and mauling for years and years but the guy knows more **** about boxing than we'll ever know and he fought who he could and at least fought professionally. Remember kids, it's easy to be a keyboard warrior and talk **** about boxers while they at least fight and have more boxing experience than we'll every gain. Not saying yer a keyboard warrior but most guys on here talk alot of **** about fighters knowing that they themselves have never had a pro fight in their life.

Can we have the board shut down? I don't see it serving any future purpose moving forward. It's accomplished what it set out to.

The only reason this guy is doing this now is because he's a flaming *****. And B-Hop talked bad about PBF. Now he's no longer a fan. Disgusting. Every time someone discredits Floyd they gotta nitpick their resume . I've said B-Hop is somewhat overrated but I've maintained that opinion for a long time.

people who dislike hopkins have used that same line over and over throughout the years. As I mentioned earlier, they might have been naturally smaller, but most of his signature victories came after his 35th b-day, which is in boxer-years, damn near ancient. And in serveral of his biggest victories, he was an underdog with all the bookies, including the trinidad and tarver wins. To me, that criticism of b-hop holds little merit. and as far as the calzhage fight went, that fight was very very close and could have gone either way, and if hopkins wouldve thrown about 15 more punches a round, it would have been a clear cut victory for him
