Arkansas now joins in the ranks as such states as Missouri , Nevada & California with having
death in the professional boxing ring.Yes last night in Benton Arkansas a boxer apparently
died from injuries he suffered in his bout in the ring in Benton Arkansas. It is
truly a sad day for Arkansas Boxing and boxing around the world but mostly for the
family of the Debut Fighter Anthony Jones. May he rest in Peace !

Wow this is about 45 minutes from me, didn't know of the event, but haven't heard of this horrible news either. I'll make some calls and see what I can find out, either way RIP, and condolences to the family.

the saddest side of the sport. not everyone has the physical makeup to withstand the punishment endured in a boxing match.
