The rules are that you pick whichever fighter you think is the best, so you can put Zarate in. Nobody has called for Zarate in previous rounds, but there is no reason why you cant sub him in for the final. By the way another rule is that you dont need to vote for every round, so feel free to vote and discuss one match at a time, if it makes it easier. There are some good matches, like Duran v Whitaker that really do stand out.

Jones would be outboxing him but as soon as that shot lands, good night vienna. This content is protected Basically how I have picked Hamed to lose in every fight so far. Marcel will be out manuevering Hamed at every point keeping him off balance and chucking in some lovely read lights and wicked left hooks as Hamed is off-balance. Marcel would win a clinic. This content is protected Arbachakov is a real 'by the book' technician. A true technically correct boxer-puncher. I think this plays into the hands of Canto abit who will be able to anticipate his attacks better than an unorthodox guy, although Arbachakov's speed, timing and accuracy will definitly let him have some success. I just like Canto to be able to make him miss enough to take a 10-5 sorta decision. This content is protected

I rate him very slightly higher in H2H terms yes, but there is no gap in class really imo. I would have picked Hopkins over Monzon too.
Jofre was still good enough to beat Hamed, in my estimation. While he may have been past his best, he was still an excellent Featherweight. I don't see very many fighters, if any, stopping him even at that weight. I agree with Greg, though. Marcel was the better Featherweight.
Well, for skills/ability I think Toney deserves to be ranked on the same highest level as Hopkins as a middleweight defensive boxer. The razor-thin edge I grant to Toney is probably down to a personal preference for how they look on film peak-for-peak and I understand that most see Hopkins as better.
Ali decisions Lewis or stops him late in a hard, awkward one IMO. Lewis is a nailed-on great, but my main fear for him against Ali is his lack of head movement when confronted with the speed and precision of Ali's punches, especially the straighter ones. This is a hard one to predict though. Foster knocks out Jones Jr. Monzon edges Hopkins in a close one, I'm with GPater on this one for the same reasons. Leonard beats Trinidad or De La Hoya. Different class of fighter. That said, I think Felix could do a lot better here than most might anticipate, especially in the event of Leonard having his head up his own arse and not respecting Trinidad's power or combination punching. Still.....Leonard. Duran over Whitaker without me being at all too surprised should the reverse prove to be true. Marcel decisions Hamed clearly. I'd also take Arguello and Jofre over him even at the differing respective stages of their careers. Zarate or Olivares over Sahaprom. Canto probably decisions Arbachakov.
