Heavy: Peter Jackson vs Lennox Lewis Light Heavy: Bob Fitzsimmons/Joe Choynski vs Roy Jones Jr Middle: Fitzsimmons/Tommy Ryan vs Bernard Hopkins/Toney Welter: Tommy Ryan/Jack Dempsey vs Trinidad Light: Jack McAuliffe vs Whitaker Feather: George Dixon vs Naseem Hamed Bantam: Jimmy Barry v Veeraprol Sahaprom Each Fighter can fight no more than once at any particular weight. Calls can be made on legacy if you prefer. This should actually be quite interesting to see given the 100 year discrepancys. I have added Joe Choynski as a possible light heavy, in case anyone thinks it is better to have arguably the biggest light heavy weight hitter ever against Roy Jones and drop Fitz and Ryan down a weight division, where they were considered close to invincible in their primes. The 1890s will be underdogs but do look to have a fairly decent advantage in terms of dominance (within their own time). Both teams seem to have a lot of depth and you can easily come up with several different combinations of fighters depending on which fighter you use.
My thoughts? The only fights were I would significantly favour one side over the other are: Tommy Ryan to take Trinidad George Dixon to take Hamed I guess that is a vindication of the 1890s crew.
Heavy: Peter Jackson vs Lennox Lewis - Lewis KO1-3 completely overwhelms the smaller man Light Heavy: Bob Fitzsimmons vs Roy Jones Jr - Jones Jr KO late rounds. Jones toys with him before putting an end to it Middle: Tommy Ryan vs Toney - Toney wide points decision but isnt able to stop the durable Ryan Welter: Jack Dempsey vs Trinidad - Was Dempsey a baby here? Guessing he was green as hell? I'll go for Trinidad KO8 based on the fact he KOed blacks and Dempsey being green Light: Jack McAuliffe vs Whitaker - Whitake wide UD completely outclasses McAuliffe Feather: George Dixon vs Naseem Hamed - Dixon lost 1/3 of his fights in a crude era. Hamed KO10. Bantam: Jimmy Barry v Veeraprol Sahaprom - never heard of Barry, cannot comment
Pachilles that's not Jack Dempsey the heavyweight. I don't think i've ever owned someone with such ease, i feel like Lennox Lewis in your scenario with you being Peter Jackson.
Do you really believe that Dixon lost a third of his fights? He is thought to have had over 800 for a start.
No assclot, why would i know about some assblood from victorian times who theres no film of and probably fought like a kangaroo? And why would i pick him over T to tha ****in rinidad, who there is film of and looks awesome??:think
I'm not saying you should have picked him you heap of horsemeat, i thought it was funny that you thought it was a green version of the Jack Dempsey who won the hevyweight championship.
it was pretty funny and i do now look like abit of a douche, but me not knowing that **** is not such a big deal.
