To me, I definitely have major preference for their first fight.

The first fight was simply epic I thought.

    Thanks for clarifying!

I may perhaps push the deadline on this one back a week, as I'm not quite finished with what I intend to do on the previous survey.

This is going to be difficult. I'll probably do it strictly as a "best" fights list instead of also considering historical significance, skill level etc.

Sorry about that McG, I didn't put full names.

I was of course referring to Maurice Harris/Derrick Jefferson

Guys, I'm officially pushing the deadline back one week to February 28, as I still have not found time to get everything done on the previous survey.

    Great list :good

Benn vs Mclellan was the best fight of that decade though, but it seems it's never gonna be recognised as such. Even Nigel Benn's said it cant be considered as a truly GREAT fight cos of what happened but for me it had everything.

The first one was more competitive. In the second Bowe was out of shape, and then fan man blew all of Holyfield's momentum when it looked like he was going to knock Bowe out. That really pissed me off. Holyfield got it working again but that break really saved Bowe, I think. Then the third one Bowe was on point but Holyfield wasn't on his game and was having health issues. The first fight was also a bit faster than the second with the fireworks starting earlier while lasting longer, if I recall correctly.

I also took a look at the Benn, Eubank, Watson, McCallum fights everyone has been voting for and I don't get why Eubank vs Watson 2 isn't a huge favorite after Benn vs McClellan. Eubank vs Benn 1 was pretty good but it ends in round 9 whereas Eubank vs Watson 2 has the knockout in round 12 so you get three more competitive dynamite rounds! It was also closer and it looked like one good punch could have ended the fight either way as both men were staggering around on wobbly legs.
