I doubt his Dec 11th card will be PPV, it wouldn't be strong enough to be considered. Last nights barely was

 

Khan-Maidana will be later that night and almost certainly PPV. So it could be included with that.

 

Hmm I wouldn't be so sure Khan Vs Maidana will be PPV considering it's on at 4.30am.

They did well on ITV but that was because it was free. The Salita fight, and especially the Kotelnik fight were staged in the UK and were on primetime television and they both struggled badly leading SKY to cut down their offers drastically.

It all depends on how much Team Khan has learned from the PPV dealings with Malignaggi fight, where they approached with an offer that was ridiculous considering the timeslot, and it was rightly turned down. Walked away from Sky's offering and up until the end assumed Sky would relent and pay them what they want. Let's see how it goes

Aside from that... Imagine in your minds Frank Warren,Team Khan,Sky sitting down to discuss how the deal would work... It would make the Khan-Maidana negotiations look like an afternoon tea party!

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking. All parties are going to want their share out of it, and would doubling it up really cause a significantly larger number of people to buy it who wouldn't have already done? Personally speaking if the Warren bill (if he's looking to do something similar to last night) wasn't on the same night as the Khan fight I'd still buy it, and vice versa. Having a double bill would just be a bonus to me.

The only way I could see it happening is if they risk charging more for it.

 

Agreed. Great card rob but it's too logical and makes too much sense. It's too similar to what fans want. If it SEEMS to good to be true..........you know the rest.

Shockingly good if it can be pulled off. Watched the whole thing the other night and was thoroughly entertained from stat to finish. Should rename it "Britain's got Talent."

For probabaly the first time in years im starting to take a real interest in British domestic boxing. Things have suddenly come good.

absolutley cracking card but it wudnt be mike jones for kell fighting on da pac undercard and i dnt tink he would come to england for a title fight anyway and if khan is on later in the night it is definitley PPV worthy
