I didn't note him after the queries from the billy schwer fight[/quote] Just ephedrine. it was wide spread, and available in the vitamin section of walmart, and walgreens in those days. Don't make it right, but...... This content is protected
Can't forget James Page, former WBA Welterweight champ who became a master bank robber after being stripped of his title. Buddy McGirt, more known as a trainer now, who on his best day at 147 would give anyone fits. Miguel Angel Gonzalez who was an excellent, undefeated WBC Lightweight champ who couldn't get the big fights he wanted, so he moved up for the big money fights. Should of got a win over JCC, but they robbed him in the cards. Got outclassed by a prime DLH and Zoo. Mark Breland, probably my favorite in the list of forgotten champions. Had a stellar amateur record of 110-1, winning gold at the 1984 Olympic games. This man was basically impossible to outbox, a stylistic nightmare for a lot of welterweights in history. Hugely hyped after the olympic games, too bad that chin was the only thing stopping him from achieving greatness. Is now a trainer of Deontay Wilder.
Moruti Mthlane was (is?) a quality fighter. He was turning around a fight with prime Nonito Donaire when he was stopped on a cut. He had a real good run after beating Julio Cesar Miranda, Zolani Tete and John Riel Casimero on the trot who all went on to become world champions themselves.
