Marvin Hagler was nothing more than a face first brawler that was lucky hearns had a glass jaw and was shop worn.

    fought midget Duran and struggled.

Beat a nobody in Mugabi (big deal) who never beat anyone good himself.

Never dared to be great and climb up divisions.

    Next - Lennox Lewis.

I wanted to do this one, first, could be interesting.

Gary Mason never really beat anyone. Weaver was shot. Biggs was old and Bowe's leftovers. Rudduck was coming off two losses to Tyson. Tucker was old.

Bruno was never really that good (lost to Spoon and Smith) and Lewis had major trouble. Lost to McCall, farce of a rematch. Morrison had AIDS, Mercer beat him. Huggin' Henry was so scared it was embarrassing. Golota was coming off back to back wars with Bowe, had a panic attack in the dressing room and never won a title despite 4 title shots.

Briggs was one of the worst lineal HW champions ever. Mavrovic hurt him bad and made him box within himself all night. Holyfield was old as ****. Grant was a hype job. Botha was hot ****. Tua was overweight, signed a silent agreement and never won a title for good reason. Rahman blew his head head off. Tyson was beyond shot. Vitali was beating him bad, took the fight on two weeks notice and virtually only lost via fluke. Was denied a rematch.

    @FuryFTW, now that's how it's done.

Some criticism of Oscar is actually justified and ti easy to do. He was a very very good fighter but not a truly great fighter. He also studiously avoided Azumah Nelson at 130 pounds but some would say that was smart as the Professor would have particularly enjoyed crushing the young upstart.

    Lmao this is great.

I'm a year or so late for this thread.. But I'll start it off ;) , Canelo:

Skip through the first 30 fights of extensive can crushing.

Jose Cotto - wobbled Canelo and gave him Khan like bamby legs.

Baldomir - 40 yo sex offender C- fighter.

Mosley - 42 yo shot to pieces Mosley who had just taken a beating from Pac, Mayweather and had an uninteresting draw with Sergio Mora.

Mayweather - 36 yo cherrypick gone wrong

    Lara - robbed

Miguel Cotto - close competitive fight with a shot smaller fighter. Can argue a loss

Amir Khan - took a natural 140lber up how so ever weight classes. Was outboxed until the inevitable power/size disadvantage laid Khan out.

Liam Smith - European level at best

Chavez Sr - joke fight of the century

35 + 36 yo GGG - cherrypicked an aged Golovkin after previously avoiding a younger Golovkin. Clearly lost both fights

Rocky Fielding - embarassing showcase of Canelo against a British level fighter (may be being generous here)

Jacobs - Jacobs refused to engage for the first half and then once proceeding to in the second half made it a close fight. Canelo tried slapping on a dehydration clause and Jacobs had subsequently shown his level against limited Rosado

Kovalev - fixed fight shenanigans in one of the most obvious sparring sessions of all time.

Callum Smith - gave him a 2 month camp after seeing his pathetic performance against a limited Ryder. Callum also struggled against a kickboxer and beat a one arm Groves. Basic come forward hands up fighter with a decent check hook against bums. This is all paired with Callum clearly not coming to fight and had struggled finding sparring partners.

    Next: Muhammad Ali

    Ali

Liston through both fights. Bob foster was blown up light heavy who dropped ali. Barely handled bum wepner. Lost to an alcoholic leon spinks in leons 9th pro fight. Gift decisions against Norton and young. Foreman was overheated and dundee loosened the ropes. Lucky that futch stopped the fight in Manila, second Frazier fight was a draw. Beaten by mediocre berbick.

    Tommy hearns

    Lennox Lewis

    - Never fought a southpaw

    - Embarrassingly knocked out in the middle of his championship prime by two mediocre opponents.

    - Just about all of his meaningful victories came against opponents who were on a significant decline in one form or another.

    1. Tommy Morrison: had looked very poor in fights for yrs leading up to their bout and had the HIV/AIDS virus.

    2. Evander Holyfield: war torn 37 year old who had looked terrible in his previous fight vs journeyman Vaughn Bean. Emanuel Steward who kept tabs on the Holyfield camp told Lewis on film that Holyfield was shot and couldn’t even train properly anymore. He could seriously hurt shot Holyfield in 24 rounds. 2nd fight could’ve reasonably been scored a draw.

    3. Mike Tyson: completely shot shell who was in no condition for a fight. Had a cocaine addiction and was being medicated on downers. According to his trainer Stacey Mcklinney, Tyson didn’t even train at all the last 5 weeks before the fight.

    4. Andrew Golota: had a mental breakdown before the fight and was administered lidocaine in his knee improperly by a physician right before his ring walk which left him vulnerable and groggy. Golota successfully sued the physician.

    5. Michael Grant: HBO hyped American who achieved nothing of note before or after fighting Lewis.

    6. David Tua: broke several ribs in training camp and couldn’t train the last several weeks before the fight. Worst version of Tua that ever entered a ring. Chris Byrd who Lewis dropped his IBF title to avoid fighting beat a much better Tua.

    Manny Pacquiao:

Any wins under 126 were due to him being one of the biggest weight bullies the sport has seen and that was without VADA.

Morales and Barrera were past it and he still lost the most important fight there.

    Marquez is his dad.

    He drained Cotto.

    Margarito and Hatton were leftovers.

    Clottey threw the fight.

David Diaz was not a legitimate 135 champ.

Bradley beat him with a broken toe.

Thurman was partying the night before and was a has been.

    Jeff Horn LOL

He ducked Floyd because he refused to stop taking steroids, and got owned when the fight happened.

    He cheated on his wife.
