DECISION Billy Joe Saunders reveals he’s contemplating retirement as he breaks silence

Saunders is a bum in and out of the ring, he was smashed so bad it's a miracle he can show his face in public.

 

He can't possibly be a bum after schooling all time pound for pound great, the goat, numero uno, the legend that is David Lemiuex? Surely not.

 

They would have been great fights. Not even saying I'd pick Saunders to win, but it would have been intriguing watching how GGG and Canelo handle him in full flow at MW.

Clenelo had waited since uncle GGG with damn long, too long mileage under belt before he even turned into a pro will be enough old uncle for him to walk till cards.

Boxers like Beterbiev 30-35 y.o versions, Gvozdyk before fight vs Beterbiev etc alike most likely had turned this cat into a prarplegic for rest of his life if not in coffin.
32 y.o Ward too and Kovalev version from Ward fight too.

Rude kid, hypocrite hero with good card, nice and damn notable videos and cool reputation in british media and forums.

Sadly Canelo looks that did not had beated up him enough hard for a lesson.

Guy worse than even vodka Kovalev for me, and this matters for me damn a lot.

Saunders was Avery talented boxer who won a world title and had some good wins.
Canelo bout was close and competitive-you act like he got knocked out in one round.
He certainly performed alot better then some of your other "world class" boxers from over there and he actually won MULTIPLE rounds vs Canelo.

But since the pride was all a front to cheat the boxing public of money and since he is now fully unclothed as the king of fraudulent quitting cowards I think he will continue spouting his bs in the hope of a 50 million payday than he will bail out again probably by manufacturing some nonsense like getting himself disqualified for biting and he will leave with his money and boxing name shamed. He has always seemed to me a modern day ( in looks and odious unpleasantness) Freddie Mills and would not surprise me even with all his money if without a career he goes off the rails.

 

I don't have any problem reading Surrix's posts and the more posts that come from non English native speakers, the better the spread of views and discussions will be. Try going to Russia and see how hard it is when the letters are different!

Yeah retirement I think is the only option for the lad now, not a great style for anybody to choose to fight and he wont have the patience to wait for a title shot.

People can have there opinions on bjs in and out of the ring and while I dont agree with things he has done I also respect the fact that the lad came.from nothing, was never given a leg up into big time boxing, stayed loyal to.frank warren when in reality he should have left him years ago.

Everything he has achieved within the sport has come.from.him and his talent, on his day at middleweight he was truly world class. The only reason somebody like him considering his heritage got anywhere near an Olympic squad was because he was a great talent, they are the facts whether people want to admit it or not.

I have stated before that I think he has wasted his prime years but once again I respect the lads business brain as much as his boxing one, he has spent years and years talking and belittling the elite champions into fighting him during which time he has beat a load of boxers of poor quality in the process taking no risk or punishment and still have people mentioning his name at elite level.

He has waited and waited for that shot and he got it, made 6 million pounds and never has to box or work ever again.

Yes he was clearly beaten by a atg but not out of his depth. I'm sure we would all like to have the skill and business sense to be retired at 31.

No one is saying he didn’t box well. I just find it a bit of an oxymoron to say someone did well until they got their eye caved in.

 

Not sure anyone cares one way or another.
