Is the most Dangerous man in boxing.. People are saying Floyd Mayweather should face Paul Williams, when really Manny Pac, Shane Mosley and any other Welter Weight... Would'nt to be honest.. Well maybe Mosley would if he really had to...
First off Williams isnt even a Welterweight anymore. Secound off didnt this guy just get almost KTFO and get an unearned decision of Sergio Martinez last month ? Rematch Martinez first and settle your buisness there. If anyone has ever ducked Williams its Kelly Pavlik.
he is a great fighter but not the most dangerous...floyd wuld whoop him...I would love to see shane vs PW and floyd vs pac
Floyd should fight Paul at 147. If Floyd goes to 154 he's toast. I think paul should rematch Martinez but if the Floyd mega fight money is out there Paul should go get it
Williams seems a good fighter but he was outboxed and beaten by C Quintana, sure he made ammends in the rematch, but the top fighters tend to grind out wins even on there off nights when not so motivated. I just feel if Williams can be outboxed by Quintana, he could be outboxed by Maywheather
fans like you are the reason why people like Mayweather try to "protect their 0" You are agreeing with someone who is judging paul by a fight that happened 3 ****ing yars ago?!?!?!? Since then he has avenged that loss, beaten Winky Wright like a drum, and won a tough decision over Aergio, along with two other fights... Don't complain about boxers who are cautious abouttheir opponents, and then criticize those who happen to lose.
I just finished watching the Williams Vs Martinez fight. I thought Martinez done enough to win, but It was a close fight, I thought it was either a Martinez win - or a draw. 119-111 was a joke though, that bloke should be never let judge another fight. Martinez seemed to run into Williams jab. And whilst ppl think Williams would be able to punch over Mayweathers shoulder roll, I cant see that happening at all. For 1 - He is too slow, Floyd would easily read that jab every time. 2 - Mayweather would duck under Williams Jab quite easily and Williams isnt quick enough to catch him with the left uppercut. 3 - Williams was getting caught a lot by Martinez, he was troubled by martinez lead shots - both to the body and later to the head. Mayweather pot shots and Williams struggled when Martinez done that. 4 - Floyd has a knack of making his opponents throw less punches as he makes the fight go at his pace, I think he could do this against Williams quite easily. I think Williams is an easy fight for Floyd and one he really should take, anything less - maybe other than Bradley - just wouldnt cut it.
Get real. Kelly had to offer Williams a career payday to get him in the ring and Williams wouldn't wait another couple weeks for the injury to heal. The career payday is still on the table for Williams to accept.
Wait another couple weeks for what to Pavlik to back out yet agian. Its real easy to go in there and fight the Rubios and Espinos without backing down.
You're not going to get much support on here, the Paul Williams bubble has burst and the trolls have gone back to their normal lives. Even with one of the judges in his pocket, and on his turf PW only managed an MD over Martinez. He should rematch Martinez, get his ass kicked and join the B level fighters where he belongs. The "most feared" thing isn't working anymore, there are a lot of guys out there who would take him on and take him out.
If you really believe Kelly was afraid of Williams you are just plain wrong. Believe what you want. Why did they have to offer Williams a career pay day to get him into the ring. It is still on the table. You think Williams will accept? Please....
I don't know what this guy /\ is talking bout. But Paul if I'm not mistaken beat the man who beat cintron twice. And the man who beat mosely twice. And the man at 154. Like pauls resume so far. Floyd needs a qualiy opponant not a sparring partner. Paul fits the bill.
Well isnt it a bit odd that when the last time Pavlik fought someone world class or **** even a decent fighter was Hopkins he gets his ass kicked all over the ring and now hes fighting your clubfighters and wont fight any big names. Thats the reason Arthur Abraham moved up because Pavlik well should I say Pavlik's promoter dont want him risking anything. So ill talk anything bad I say about Pavlik back most of the blaim is on Bob Arum IMO but if Pavlik wants to create a real legacy for himself then start fighting top guys when your best wins are Miranda and Taylor you leave alot of room for improvement.
